February Favourites!

I've decided to start doing monthly favourites posts where I share my favourite beauty and other products of that month with you. Enjoy!

Sadly I broke my Good Karma brush!
My first favourite is brought to you by my Urban Decay Naked palette. I've discovered a new eyeshadow combination that I love while playing around with my palette one day. I started off by putting Virgin all over the lid, and had the idea to place Half Baked over top.

The result is a beautiful honey colour that resembles Sin, another UD shadow, except with a golden sheen that looks gorgeous swept over the entire lid.

Next are the two brushes I discovered a few days ago. I found these two Estée Lauder brushes in an old makeup bag while cleaning my room. These brushes are small; about the length of my middle finger to the middle of my palm, but they're so soft and they pick up shadows easily!

I use the pencil brush to apply dark colours to my crease and lash line, and then I go to the outer edges with the fluffy brush to blend everything out.

Sticking on the topic of eyes,  my favourite mascara lately has been the Rimmel Glam'Eyes Lash Flirt

The brush, which I bent to better fit my lashes, evenly coats them and lengthens them severely. I'm not even kidding, this mascara does wonders for my lashes. EVERYONE NEEDS THIS MASCARA.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation in 103 True Ivory
I discovered this foundation while looking for Rimmel's matte liquid foundation, only to find that this was the one in its place. I decided to give it a try, and it was easy to find my shade because all of the drugstores I've seen them in have miniature testers for each shade.

What I love about this foundation is how thick it is. It's definitely medium to full coverage and leaves an almost matte finish to the skin, which is really important to me because I have quite oily skin.

This month, I've started using my Too Faced Primed & Poreless beneath my Rimmel foundation. I've had this sample size since November, but never really got around to using it. Though I also have a sample size of the Benefit Porefessional, I prefer this one because I feel it really adheres to my skin, whereas the Benefit primer seems to slide around under my foundation brush.

My go-to cheek colour this month has been Sin from my NARS Danmari palette.

It's just a lovely plum colour that looks great on my cheeks! I reviewed the Danmari palette in more detail here!

My last favourite for this month is one of my less-loved Revlon Lip Butters. When I first got Berry Smoothie, I felt it was too red for my complexion. However, I started to play around with it this month and have come to love its berry shade!

I hope you've enjoyed this post, and leave a comment with products you recommend. I'm always on the lookout!
