I got this trio back when I purchased the Comfort Zone Palette. It seemed like a nice alternative to that palette because it has nice, warm colours where the other palette has otherwise cooler ones. It's also great for travelling because the packaging is strong and compact, and it also comes with nice little brushes (if you don't mind sponge tip applicators when you're on the go).

Review: L'OREAL Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream
Hello everyone! I'm sorry I haven't posted in the last few months, I've been super busy preparing for my last year of high school. And then there's the whole post-secondary situation... so I hope you'll forgive me! I have a few posts coming up that I've neglected, and then it's straight to posts for autumn!
Today I have a review of the new L'oreal BB Cream. I've actually had this for about a month, and I think that gave me enough time to actually work with it and see if it changed the look of my skin.

Review: Wet 'n' Wild Comfort Zone Palette
I've heard great things about Wet 'n' Wild's eyeshadows for quite some time now, but for some reason the brand's a little difficult to locate in Canada. I remember going to Shoppers when I was younger and getting glittery lip glosses from them, but now I'm not sure if they've been pulled out of my local drugstores. However, I came across their section in Walmart and had to pick a few things up!
Today I'll be sharing my thoughts on their Comfort Zone eyeshadow palette, which features two sets of neutrals that you can coordinate to create various makeup looks. They label the eyeshadows by their intended purpose (browbone, eyelid, crease and definer) but you can obviously use them on your eyes wherever you think they'll look best.
(Since they don't have separate names, I'll be referring to the eyeshadows by the first letter of where they're supposed to be used: i.e. B1, E1...etc.)

Review: Sephora + Pantone Universe Shades of Nature Eyeshadow Palette
You guys... I did it. I purchased the lovechild of Sephora and Pantone. This palette is a collection of eyeshadows, ranging from rich neutrals to vibrant brights, all inspired by the beauty of summer. This post is going to be a doozy, seeing as there are 35 eyeshadows in this palette, but to see my thoughts on this palette please keep reading!

Review: Tokidoki Cromatico Eyeshadow
I stopped by the Tokidoki section of Sephora when I was there last and happened to notice that they were 'saying goodbye' with a huge sale on all of their stuff. I hadn't really tried any of their products before now because they were quite pricey for what you were getting, but decided to pick up their Cromatico eyeshadow in Choco for $9!

Product Review: MAC's Highlighting Powder in Crew
I wanted my first purchase at MAC to be a little special, which is why I decided to pick up their limited edition high-lighting powder in Crew, part of their Hey, Sailor! collection for summer 2012.

Product Review & Swatches: New Foundations
Being fair, I have an extremely difficult time finding foundations that don't make me look orange. This whole situation started because I finally realized the Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation in 103 True Ivory is not the right shade for my skin-tone, even though it is the second fairest of them all. Because I loved the matte finish it gave my skin, I decided to try out the lightest shade they have to offer... That's when I went on a foundation rampage.

Product Review: butter LONDON's Matte Topcoat
I've been on the hunt for a matte topcoat for the longest time, and had almost lost hope when I found that my local drugstores no longer carried Essie's Matte About You. I also knew that butter LONDON had one, but it always seemed to be sold out when I went to look for it. After stocking the butter LONDON stand for a very long time, I finally found the Matte Finish Shine-Free Topcoat!

Product Review: NARS Eyeshadow in Baby Girl
I've always had my eye on the NARS eyeshadows, the cream eyeshadow in Cosmic Girl and the powder eyeshadow in Baby Girl I recently purchased in particular. While in Sephora on Saturday I'm quite not sure what came over me... I found myself standing in front of the NARS display and the next thing I knew I was walking out with a little black & white striped bag.

Product Review: Benefit's Lemon-aid
I will admit that I've had this product for a little over a year, but haven't used it a lot. I first discovered it before I knew of Urban Decay's Primer Potion, which overshadowed it after I got my NAKED Palette.
The whole idea behind Benefit's Lemon-aid is a primer, brightener, concealer and colour corrector all wrapped up in one. It's a pale yellow which helps counteract the appearance of veins on your eyelids.

Product Overview: Lipsticks
It's been a few days since my last post, and since it's march break I've done everything in my power not to move an inch and watch every movie I own. I've decided to share my lipstick collection with you, excluding my Revlon Lip Butters since they have a post all to themselves.

Product Review: Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate
Rimmel teamed up with Kate Moss to create 15 lipsticks in colours suitable for all skin tones. I picked up 02 because it was the most exquisite bright pink I have ever seen! The lipstick also comes in some strange shades like grey and navy blue but I've only seen them on the Rimmel website, not in stores.

Nail of the Day + Review: Love & Beauty Nail Polishes
Forever 21's cosmetic line is surprisingly good, and these polishes are no exception. I only have two of their glitter polishes, but a lot of other people have told me that their regular varnishes are spectacular as well!

Product Review: NARS Danmari Palette
I'm aware that the Danmari palette was released a while ago and might not be available anymore, but the blushes, bronzer and highlight are available individually in the permanent NARS collection!
Because of the rubberized texture of all NARS packaging, it gets dirty very easily.
